SBI Mobile Banking: The largest public sector bank in India, State Bank of India enables its customers to transact through mobile, make account related enquiries, De-mat Enquiry, Instant Fixed Deposit and Recurring Deposit opening or closing, and other many features. To register for mobile banking, a customer is need to send ‘MBSREG’ to 9223440000/567676 from the registered mobile. The mobile banking can also be activated through SBI ATM or by visiting branch. How to register for SBI Mobile banking –

There are three ways to register for state bank of India mobile banking which are defined below –

Through mobile phone:

  1. Send an SMS the code ‘MBSREG’ to 9223440000/567676 from registered mobile number and get your user ID, default MPIN and a link to download the mobile banking application.
  2. After downloading the app, log in using the credentials provided in SMS.
  3. You must change the MPIN to any other 6-character code of your choice.

Through SBI ATM:

  1. Visit nearest SBI ATM and Select the option ‘Mobile Registration’
  2. Enter your mobile number and confirm the mobile number
  3. You will receive an activation SMS
  4. Now you can use SBI’s mobile banking services with the received SM.

Visit State bank of India Home branch:

  1. Visit SBI Home branch and fill up the registration form along with application.
  2. Provide necessary details and documents,
  3. The branch official will activate your mobile banking services.

How to login Mobile Banking of State Bank of India

To login Mobile banking services of SBI you need to first download mobile banking app of SBI. Now Enter username and password and click Submit (If don’t have then register first as defined above). If you are a new user, click on ‘New User Registration’ to register with the services.

Reset SBI MPIN

It is important to change the MPIN when you have logged in using the user ID and MPIN first time. Follow the below mentioned steps to reset MPIN of SBI mobile banking App

  • Log in to SBI’s mobile app.
    • Select ‘Settings’ option.
    • Click on ‘Change MPIN’.
    • Enter old MPIN
    • Enter new MPIN.
    • Confirm new MPIN.
    • Click on ’Change’
